1) Upon arrival, please take a quick tour of house and property. (Remember: Upon departure, please make sure to replace all items to its original place and order when you arrived.)
2) The house is full of family memorabilia. As the Beatles song goes… LET IT BE.
3) There is a washer and dryer for your use in the basement. Please make sure the canister that the dryer vents into is filled with water ... otherwise lint gets all over the place.
4) The basement has been converted into a Rec Room complete with Ping Pong table, Dart Board, couches, tables, and more!
5) Being that we do live in the wilderness, please make sure to clean up after yourself. (Avoid leaving food out, clean up crumbs, etc.)
6) When the trash is full, please bundle up and leave big bags in the garage until trash day. The trash is picked up on Thursday so needs to be left out by Wednesday night for pickup.
7) The Jeep Cherokee is only insured under the family name so it is not to be used unless given special permission.
8) A propane grill is located in the garage complete with all grilling supplies. Please turn off propane tank when finished using.
9) The front door needs to be pulled shut hard. Otherwise it will not close.
10) The local paper is the Jackson Hole News and Guide. It comes out on Wednesdays. It has information on what is going on in Jackson, Teton Village and the valley. Http://www.jacksonholenews.com
11) Firewood in the garage for your use.
12) Important! During the winter, please make sure the flu is open when making a fire and closed upon departure. (In order to open the flu, you must use the wood poker located next to the fireplace and push up into the chimney. To close the flu, use the hook on the wood poker to grab the flu and then pull to close.)
13) All skis/snowboard equipment need to be stored in the garage or basement. ..not house. There is a door connecting the garage to the basement. (Suggestion…keep all skis and snowboards in the garage and keep all boots in the basement. Nobody likes cold boots in the morning!)

Trash Collection
Please bundle up the trash and put it in big bags in the cellar. We must call Teton Trash Removal at 307-733-6840 or West Bank Sanitation at 307-733-2615 for trash collection when people are in town. As an alternative, you can always take it to the “town dump”.
Before You Leave
1) Place all dirty sheets/ towels in the laundry basket in the basement.
2) Bundle up trash and put in big bags in the basement if you are leaving before trash day (Thursday).
3) Empty dishwasher.
4) Close and lock all windows upon departure and pull all blinds down.
5) Lock all doors.
6) Make sure fireplace flue is closed.
7) Make sure that ice trays in freezer are filled with water.
